Donald L. Thomas

Donald Thomas was born and raised on the Chicago west side and has been working in the construction field for over 20 years. He also has experience working in the mental health field, working with teenagers and adults. Donald Thomas has also attended Logos Ministerial College and is ordained as a minister. Having both parents in his life growing up, taught him the core value on just how important family truly is. Donald Thomas has a heart for helping people.

One of his visions is to help veterans and low-income families obtain affordable housing. The forming of Helping Other People Excel CDC Housing Foundation will do that and more. The foundation also has food on wheels, a food pantry, and battered women shelters. Helping Other People Excel CDC Housing Foundation also offers a lot more such as job training and placement programs, reentry housing for women and men, which will provide individuals an opportunity to get a second chance to live a better life. Helping Other People Excel CDC Housing Foundation main focus is to show people that there are still some people who truly care. Helping Other People Excel CDC Housing Foundation is not here to give individuals a hand out, but to let them know, we are here to give you a hand up in life, and that’s because we love to help those in need. Because one can’t say that they love GOD, and not be more than willing to help those who need help, that were created by GOD.
